The winery has been created in 1999 by a couple, both trained as oenologists, he is French from Burgundy, she is Catalan. They worked in Burgundy and Sonoma Valley and went back to Irene’s father vineyard to create what today is the most acclaimed wine from the Penedès.
They own 8 hectares of ancient vineyards from 25 to 60 years old varieties: merlot, cabernet sauvignon and carignan

-Grape varieties: Old vines: 20% cabernet sauvignon , 50%merlot, 30% Carignan from different plots . Low yields of 2000 kg/ha on a 15% slope.
Fermentation takes place in small tanks on wild yeasts. No pumps in the winery, the wines are moved using inert gas to avoid any uncontrolled oxidation.
